President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with Ahmed Abdulrahman Mahmood Ismail Al-Saati, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Russia. The discussion took place at the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan.
“We place great importance on our cooperation with Bahrain. The leaders of our countries maintain regular contact, and Tatarstan strives to contribute to the development of Russian-Bahraini relations,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
He highlighted that delegations from Bahrain are frequent visitors to the republic, actively participating in the Tatarstan Petrochemical Forum and the International Economic Forum "Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum." Their contributions to the Group of Strategic Vision "Russia–Islamic World" are also highly valued.
“His Majesty the King sends you his warmest regards and best wishes. He fondly recalls your meetings in Moscow and Bahrain,” the ambassador noted.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding trade and economic cooperation, strengthening ties in science, education, culture, and tourism, and exploring collaboration in Islamic banking, finance, and the halal industry.
