Rally participants in the capital of Kyrgyzstan demanded a change of government

Participants of the rally held in the capital of Kyrgyzstan near the Government House demanded to change the composition of the new Cabinet,  TASS correspondent reports from the scene.


Participants of the rally insist on changing the composition of the government, arguing that the Cabinet should include a "clean" generation of politicians. More than one hundred representatives and supporters of political parties who were not included into the legislative body as a result of parliamentary elections held in the country on October 4 take part in the meeting. Rally participants also advocate lustration of power.


As they explained to TASS correspondent, despite the fact that all gathered represent one opposition force, people argue about "who exactly should lead the country".


On Tuesday, Kyrgyz parliament dismissed Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov and his government, appointing Sadyr Zhaparov Acting Cabinet Chief .


On Tuesday night after parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan that took place on October 4, representatives of parties that didn't pass to the highest legislative body organized mass disorders in Bishkek. Protesters captured the buildings of parliament, government, presidential administration, Prosecutor General's Office and capital mayor's office and released former president Almazbek Atambayev, former prime minister Sapar Isakov and a number of other politicians from the detention center.


On Tuesday morning, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov delivered an address to the country's citizens calling on the leaders of political parties to calm down their supporters.
