The Russian and Turkish military conducted a joint patrol training in the Idlib de-escalation zone in Syria, during which they played out an episode with an attack by "militants", Yevgeny Polyakov, Deputy head of the Coordination center of this zone, told reporters.
"We have worked out the issues of coordination of military personnel involved directly in patrolling, the procedure for organizing communications on the route using special signals," he said.
According to him, the main task of the training was to work out the interaction of the military of the two countries in the event of emergency situations, including an attack on a column of militants. The military evacuated the "wounded" and drove away the "damaged" equipment, as well as worked out the procedure for the support units.
