Russia Advocates Restraint in Middle East Conflict

19 April

The Kremlin has expressed that it is premature to comment on reports of Israel's attack on Iran until official statements are made, according to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Speaking to journalists, Peskov emphasized that Russia advocates for restraint from all parties involved in the conflict and refuses to support any actions that could escalate tensions in the Middle East.

"So far, there have been no official statements from Israel. Therefore, we are studying this information, and for now, we consider it premature to give any comments without understanding the details. However, in any case, we still advocate restraint of the parties and refusal of any actions that could provoke further escalation of tension in such a difficult region," Peskov stated.
