Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria to Russia Smail Allaoua.
The officials discussed relevant issues concerning further development of the traditionally friendly cooperation between Russia and Algeria, including deepening political dialogue and enhancing cooperation in trade, economic, humanitarian and other areas.
Special attention was paid to key aspects of the situation in North Africa.
