"At the moment we have conducted negotiations with the Russian Direct Investment Fund and reached agreements in principle to start production of the Russian vaccine. For this purpose, together with the Russian side, we plan to build a special medical center on the territory of the Kingdom," the press service of the Roscongress Foundation quotes the diplomat on Wednesday.

At the meeting, the sides also discussed the participation of the Bahraini delegation in St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in June. "Interaction within the framework of key business events, such as SPIEF, will certainly strengthen the existing ties and will contribute to the expansion of relations and the further development of business and cultural dialogue between Russia and Bahrain," Kobyakov emphasized.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on June 2-5 and will be held in person and in compliance with all the security measures. The theme of this year's forum is "COLLECTIVE RECKONING OF THE NEW GLOBAL ECONOMIC REALITY". More than a hundred discussions are planned in the architecture of the business program.
