During his visit to Manama, Rushan Abbyasov, the first deputy chairman of the Russian Muftis Council, met with Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain Sheikh Abdurahman bin Rashid al Khalifa.
According to the press service of the RMC, the parties discussed ways to develop multifaceted Russian-Bahraini cooperation within the framework of the Memorandum of cooperation between the two organizations.
Abbyasov reminded that Moscow Halal Expo will be held in Manama on November 25-26, which is designed to intensify Russian exports of goods to the markets of the Persian Gulf countries.
Sheikh al Khalifa, in turn, noted the interest of Arab countries in the development of trade and economic relations with Russia.
