Russia and Bahrain continue to enhance the bilateral contractual and legal framework. A number of agreements are being finalized; including on visa issues, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference following the talks with his Bahraini counterpart Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
'Today, Mr. Minister and I reaffirmed that we will expedite the agreement for visa-free travel for our citizens," he said in particular.
Bahraini Foreign Minister, in turn, expressed hope that this issue will be resolved in the near future.
During the talks, the Foreign Ministers of Russia and Bahrain also discussed the entire range of bilateral relations and Middle East issues.
