Russia and Bahrain Sign Seven Agreements Following Putin and Al Khalifa Meeting

Following discussions between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Russia and Bahrain signed seven significant documents, marking a new chapter in bilateral cooperation. The signing ceremony took place in the Malachite Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace, with both leaders present.

 

One notable agreement is the hosting of Russian Seasons in Bahrain in 2025, aiming to enhance cultural exchange between the two nations.

 

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Directorate of Culture and Antiquities of Bahrain signed a comprehensive program of cooperation for 2024-2027.

 

 

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the National Health Service of Bahrain to promote cooperation in the pharmaceutical and medical industries.

 

Additionally, the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Federation and the Academy of Diplomatic Studies of Bahrain formalized their collaboration, which will focus on educational exchanges, joint research, and the development of diplomatic skills among students and professionals from both nations.

 

The health ministries of both countries also signed an agreement to strengthen cooperation in healthcare.

 

In the transport sector, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and its Bahraini counterparts signed an agreement to enhance cooperation in transport and transit.

 

Lastly, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Kamchatka Falcon Center, the Roscongress Foundation, and the Supreme Council for Ecology of Bahrain. The Kamchatka Falcon Center, established in 2022 with the help of Arab and Russian specialists, focuses on the rehabilitation, conservation, and reproduction of rare species of birds of prey.
