Russia and Cuba have agreed on cooperation on an international agenda

Today, negotiations were held between Russian Foreign Minister SergeyLavrov and his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, who is in Russia on an official visit.

 

 


According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Heads of the Foreign Affaires agencies have exchanged views on topical issues of cooperation in the political, material and cultural-humanitarian spheres, and also have confirmed their mutual focus on the all-round strengthening of the Russian-Cuban strategic partnership.

 

 


Special attention was paid to building up cooperation between Moscow and Havana in the international arena on key issues of global and regional issues.

 

 

 

Following the negotiations, a Plan for political consultations was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba for 2020-2022.
