Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Moscow Ihab Nasr.
During the conversation, which was held at the request of the Egyptian side, the parties discussed topical issues on the regional agenda, focusing on the Palestinian-Israeli settlement, the situation in Syria and Libya.
They also touched upon practical aspects of further strengthening Russian-Egyptian multifaceted cooperation, including coordinating positions on international platforms.
