At the Russian Foreign Ministry have passed consultations of the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov with Deputy Foreign Minister and Director of the Department of African Organizations and Associations of the Foreign Ministry of Egypt, Khaled Amara.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the parties held a “thorough exchange of views on the complex issues of preparation for the Russia-Africa summit, taking into account the chairmanship of the Arab Republic of Egypt this year in the African Union”.
It is expected that the Russia-Africa summit will be held in October this year in Sochi.
