According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, negotiations were held in Geneva. The central topics of discussion were settlement issues in Syria. In particular, the diplomats have discussed the current situation in the Arab Republic focusing on the situation in the province of Idlib. Special attention was paid to the tasks of promoting a long-term political settlement in the SAR on the basis of UN Security Council resolutions.
