Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Monday that Russia and the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Persian Gulf (GCC) have adopted a joint statement and a joint action plan for the period of 2023-2028. The decision was made during the sixth round of the strategic dialogue between Russia and the GCC.
"We have adopted a joint statement and a joint action plan of Russia and the Gulf Cooperation Council for the years 2023-2028. These documents will be made available to the public," Lavrov stated during a press conference.
He further expressed his belief that the strategic dialogue serves as a valuable platform for enhancing business cooperation, strengthening bilateral political coordination, and promoting multilateral relations. Lavrov emphasized that these efforts are aimed at establishing stability and fostering good-neighborliness in the region.
