Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov received Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Russian Federation Mehdi Sanaei, who is about to complete his ambassadorial mission.
The talks, according to the press service of the Russian MFA, focused on bilateral relations. The parties emphasised mutual interest in further expanding the political dialogue, trade and economic cooperation, as well as interregional, cultural, educational and humanitarian ties.
Morgulov expressed gratitude to Ambassador Sanaei for his contribution to developing relations between Russia and Iran.
