Iran's Oil Minister, Bijan Zanganeh, announced telephone talks with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak. This was announced by an Iranian official in his microblog on Twitter.
"I held talks with the Chairman of the OPEC conference - the respected Minister of Algeria (Mohammad Arkab - ed.), yesterday I also held telephone conversations with the Ministers from Russia (Alexander Novak – ed.) and Kuwait (Khaled al-Fadhel - ed.) about the decision - making process at the upcoming OPEC+ meeting to stabilize the situation on the oil market," the tweet reads, in particular.
During these talks, it is noted that other oil-producing countries, including Canada and the United States, need to participate in this issue.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia announced that it would hold an extraordinary meeting of G20 Energy Ministers on April 10.
