During the X meeting of the Russian-Iranian permanent intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, held in Isfahan, the representatives of Russia and Iran signed 12 agreements on cooperation in various fields.

According to Iranian media, on the last day of the commission’s work, a meeting was held between the energy ministers of Russia and Iran, Alexander Novak and Reza Ardakanian. As the Iranian minister noted, the results of the implementation of the agreements reached at the meeting will have a positive impact on the entire region.
The signed agreements relate to cooperation in the field of electric power, railway communications, health care, maritime shipping, tourism, technology, etc.
