The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation held a meeting between the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov and the Israeli Ambassador to Moscow Harry Koren. As reported on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the meeting took place at the request of the Israeli side.
The main topic of discussion during the conversation was topical regional issues and, in particular, the issues of Palestinian-Israeli settlement. Separately, diplomats discussed the situation in Syria. A number of practical aspects of Russian-Israeli multifaceted ties were also touched upon.
