Russia and Kazakhstan Discuss Border Demarcation in Various Sections

Russia and Kazakhstan have been addressing issues related to the demarcation of their state border across various sections within the framework of their joint demarcation commission. This development was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan following the regular 141st meeting of the commission, which took place from August 19 to 23 in Almaty.

 

“The parties continued work on the preparation and approval of draft final documents for the demarcation of the Kazakh-Russian state border and discussed a range of issues related to the designation of the border line in its various sections,” the ministry stated in its message.

 

Additionally, the work plan for 2025 was reviewed and discussed, the ministry added.

 

The next meeting of the commission is scheduled to be held in Russia between September and October 2024.
