Russia and Kazakhstan have made progress in bilateral relations, Putin said

Russian President Vladimir Putin in his congratulations to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and former Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev noted that the two countries have achieved success in developing bilateral relations and advancing Eurasian integration processes.


According to the press service of the Kremlin, the Russian leader said that despite the difficult epidemic situation, the two countries in 2021 "managed to achieve significant successes both in the development of bilateral relations and in the promotion of Eurasian integration processes."


"A very significant event in this context, stresses the congratulations, was the XVII Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan: the agreements concluded on its results opened up new opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation. The head of the Russian state expressed confidence that through joint efforts it will be possible to ensure further comprehensive strengthening of strategic partnership and alliance - for the benefit of the fraternal peoples of Russia and Kazakhstan, in the interests of regional stability and security," the congratulatory message reads.
