Russia and Kazakhstan have signed more than a dozen cooperation agreements

As part of the XVI Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan, the two countries signed more than ten documents on cooperation.


Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Medinsky and Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Aktoty Raimkulova signed a cooperation program for 2020-2022.


Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Nikolay Zakhriapin and Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Beibut Atamkulov signed a joint action program on the functioning of checkpoints on the Russian-Kazakh state border.


Also at the Forum, as RIA Novosti writes, a Memorandum of understanding on youth policy was signed.


In addition, agreements were signed between Governor of Chelyabinsk region and Akim of Kostanay region, Governors of Kurgan and Novosibirsk regions and Akim of Pavlodar region.


The XVI Forum of Interregional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia on "Topical issues of development of cross-border cooperation" was held in Omsk. It was attended by the presidents of the two countries Vladimir Putin and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
