Russia and Laos have held security consultations

Security Council Secretary Nikolay Patrushev and Laos Minister of Public Security Vilay Lakhamfong have held security consultations in Vietnam.

 

 


According to the Press Office of the Security Council of Russia, during the negotiations the Russian side had offered Laos to take part in the joint work, joining the data bank of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation on international terrorists.

 

 

"The Russian side called on Lao partners to join the international data bank of the Russian FSB to counter international terrorism, which has an array of analytical materials on individuals and organizations involved in terrorist tactics and means of terrorists," as it is mentioned in the message.

 

 


In addition, the parties paid special attention to cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking, cooperation in ensuring international information security and countering the so-called color revolutions.
