Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin received Head of the Lebanese Democratic Party Talal Arslan, who is visiting Moscow.
According to the press service of the Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East with a focus on developments in Lebanon, including with regard to the many Syrian refugees staying in the country, as well as several aspects of the Syria settlement.
The officials emphasised the importance of stepping up the coordinated efforts to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees home from Lebanon.
