At the initiative of the Moroccan side, Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov had a telephone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco Nasser Bourita.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during the conversation they discussed practical issues related to the further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Moroccan relations, including preparations for the eighth meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Moroccan Commission on Economic and Scientific-Technical Cooperation in Moscow.
Special attention was paid to the coordination of the approaches of Russia and Morocco to issues on the UN and UN Security Council agenda, in which the sides have mutual interest.
