The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation held a meeting of the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov with the Ambassador of Morocco in Moscow Abdelkader Lecheheb. According to the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry, a meeting took place at the request of the Moroccan side.
During the conversation, the diplomats discussed topical issues of the further development of multifaceted Russian-Moroccan ties, including the implementation of the agreements reached during the working visit of the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Rabat at the end of January this year.
Special attention was paid to the development of the situation in North Africa and in the Sahara-Sahel zone.
