Russia and Pakistan have agreed on a dialogue on strategic security

In Islamabad, a meeting was held between the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Sergey Ryabkov and the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Tehmina Janjua.

 

According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during the discussion, diplomats reiterated the attitude of the two states to cooperate in the interests of strategic stability.

 

«A set of topical issues related to arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction were substantively discussed in an interested manner. The mutual spirit was confirmed to expand Russian-Pakistani cooperation, carried out in the interests of ensuring global and regional strategic stability», the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted, in particular.
