Russian-Qatari talks were held in Doha. The main topic of the talks was the fight against international terrorism and cybercrime, as well as economic security issues.
Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister Khaled bin Khalifa al Thani, National Security adviser to the Amir Mohammed al-Misned, and Director of the National Security Agency Abdullah al-Khuleifi took part in the talks.
Representatives of a number of ministries and departments of the two countries also attended the meeting.
The sides exchanged views on international and regional security issues, paying special attention to the issue of countering international terrorism. The issue of assistance to third countries affected by terrorism was also raised.
Patrushev is in Doha for a two-day visit. Earlier, he was received the Amir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad al Thani.
