Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister and Mikhail Bogdanov received Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation Fahad bin Mohammed al-Attiyah at the latter's request.
The sides discussed topical issues on the Russian-Qatari agenda, including the schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts and events.
"The current situation in the Middle East and North Africa was also touched upon, with an emphasis on the situation in Syria, Libya, the Arab-Israeli settlement and the Persian Gulf zone", the message reads.
