On the margins of the OSCE anti-terrorism conference, which ended in Bratislava, Russian-Slovak consultations were held on the fight against terrorism. According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Oleg Syromolotov took part in the discussion from the Russian side, and Lukas Parizek, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, took part in the discussion.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged assessments of the state of terrorist threats in the Middle East and North Africa and national experiences and ideas in the field of combating terrorism.
Separately, diplomats discussed issues of international and bilateral counter-terrorism and anti-extremist cooperation.
At the same time, the two countries reaffirmed the principled position on the need to consolidate the efforts of the world community in the global fight against international terrorism and extremism based on the norms and principles of international law.
