In Munich on the sidelines of an International Security Conference Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Abdalla Hamdok.
During the conversation, they discussed topical issues of further development of traditionally friendly Russian-Sudanese relations, including building up mutually beneficial cooperation in trade, economic, investment, humanitarian and other areas, as well as strengthening cooperation in the international arena, including within the UN.
In addition, the officials exchanged views on the issues of resolving crises and conflict situations in the Middle East and Africa, with a focus on ensuring stability in Darfur and South Sudan.
