Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Sudan Abdalla Hamdok at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during the conversation the parties discussed topical issues of bilateral and regional agenda in the context of the situation in Sudan.
The parties confirmed their mutual intention to continue constructive cooperation in the interests of strengthening the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
