Russia and Syria have accused the US of disrupting the evacuation of refugees from the al-Rukban Camp

The US has disrupted the evacuation of refugees from the al-Rukban Syrian Camp, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov announced.

"Once again we see that American colleagues demonstrate a wide gap between words and deeds, and regret that the most important humanitarian issue can not find a solution largely due to the fact that Washington is working on an agenda radically different from ours and by and large does not imply, unfortunately, the normalization of the situation in Syria", - the diplomat said.

Earlier today, the interdepartmental coordination headquarters of Russia and Syria reported that the command of the US military base in Al-Tanf actually disrupted the evocuation of refugees from the al-Rukban camp.

The operation was supposed to start from the end of September in accordance with the UN plan. The US was required to oblige the controlled armed groups to ensure the safety of UN bus convoys and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in the 55-kilometer zone of Al-Tanf, as well as to organize their access to the camp for the evacuation.

The operation was supposed to be completed within a month but failed before its beginning, due to the failure of the US agreements.
