Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of the Philippines Brigido Dulay, who arrived in Moscow to take part in Russian-Philippine Inter-Ministerial consultations.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the diplomats discussed the current situation in the Middle East region with an emphasis on the situation in the Persian Gulf, Syria and Libya.
Issues of Russian-Filipino foreign policy cooperation were discussed as well.
