Russia and the United States will continue expert advice on counterterrorism

This summer, the dialogue between Russia and the United States on antiterrorism will continue at the level of experts and Deputy Heads of Foreign Affaires agencies.

 

 


This was announced in an interview with TASS by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation on countering terrorism, Oleg Syromolotov.

 

 


According to him, the meeting at the expert level will be held in Vienna on June 6th, and in the third decade of July Syromolotov will hold talks with the US First Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan there.

 

 


The central topics of discussion are promised to be the situation in Afghanistan, the creation of an accessible database for both sides and a system for tracking the movements of foreign terrorist fighters, as well as a search for common approaches to the formation of sanctions lists of terrorists and terrorist organizations in the UN.
