Russia and Turkey have resumed talks on Idlib

Turkey and Russia have resumed talks on the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone in Syria. The meeting of delegations from 2 countries is taking place in Ankara today.


The Russian delegation is represented by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Vershinin and Russian President's Special Representative for Syria Alexander Lavrentiev, as well as representatives of the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Russian Defense Ministry.


The Turkish delegation, in turn, is headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Sedat Onal. The Turkish delegation includes representatives of the Foreign Ministry, the General Staff and the country's National Intelligence Agency.
