Russia and Turkey jointly patrol the highway in Idlib

Russian and Turkish troops conducted another, fourth in a row, a joint patrol of the M-4 highway in Syrian Idlib, the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties reports. 


“In accordance with the agreements between the presidents of Russia and Turkey dated March 5, on April 15, the fourth joint Russian-Turkish patrol of the M-4 highway section in the Idlib de-escalation zone connecting the cities of Aleppo and Latakia took place,” the newsletter reads.


Two BTR-80s and the Tiger armored car were involved in the patrolling from the Russian side.


From the air, the column was controlled by the Russian Aerospace Forces drones.
