The V Russian-Turkish Public Forum has completed its work in St. Petersburg.
Co-chairs of the Forum - head of Rossotrudnichestvo Eleonora Mitrofanova and member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ahmet Berat Conkar summed up the results of the event at the joint press conference.
Special attention was paid to the work of the Committee on education and science, which, according to Mitrofanova, "made a breakthrough in the educational sphere": more than 20 Russian and Turkish universities signed memorandums of cooperation.
At the meeting of the Committee on culture, there was a presentation of the project on Russian-Turkish filmmaking dedicated to the culture of the peoples of the two countries.
Joint plans in the field of regional cooperation and local self-government, information activities, interreligious relations, etc were outlined at the meetings of the Committee on the business climate and legal issues.
More than 250 experts participated in the work of the sections. The sixth session of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum will take place in Istanbul in the summer of 2020.
