Representatives of Russia and Turkey will discuss the grain deal, Syria, Libya and Palestine during talks in Istanbul on December 8-9, the Turkish MFA told reporters on Wednesday.
"On December 8-9, 2022, Turkey and the Russian Federation will hold political consultations in Istanbul between delegations led by Deputy Foreign Minister [of Turkey] Ambassador Sedat Onal and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin. The parties are expected to discuss issues such as the implementation of the UN grain agreement, as well as regional issues such as Syria, Libya and Palestine," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced the upcoming visit of a Russian delegation led by Vershinin.
