In 2020, Russia and Turkey will celebrate the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. The relevant departments of the two countries are already preparing a plan for celebrations, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a press conference following the Russian-Turkish talks.
"Next year we will celebrate the centenary of diplomatic relations between Russia and Turkey, so the relevant departments, parliamentary circles and public organizations of the two countries are working on drawing up a large - scale plan of celebrations", - the Russian leader said in particular.
The talks of Russian and Turkish presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan were held on the sidelines of the MAKS 2019 air show. The main topics of discussion were the development of cooperation in various fields and the situation in Syria.
