Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa and Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov during his working trip to Abu-Dhabi was received by UAE National Security Adviser Tahnoun Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Earlier, the Russian diplomat also met with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Anwar Gargash.
During the conversation, the sides exchanged views on key topics of the Russian-Emirati agenda, as well as topical aspects of the situation in the Middle East and North Africa.
At the same time, the parties confirmed the mutual focus of Russia and the UAE on maintaining a regular and trust-based political dialogue, as well as the dynamic build-up of mutually beneficial multifaceted trade and economic cooperation and the expansion of cultural and humanitarian ties.
