Russia and Uzbekistan held inter-Ministerial political consultations

Today, in accordance with the Cooperation Programme Between the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation and the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2018−2019, Moscow hosted another round of Russia-Uzbekistan political consultations at deputy foreign minister level. 


The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister Andrey Rudenko; Uzbekistan’s delegation was led by First Deputy Foreign Minister Ilhomjon Nematov.


The parties discussed the preparations for the future contacts at the high and top levels, as well as the state and prospects of political, trade, economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.


They also exchanged views on international affairs, current issues of regional importance and consular matters.
