Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov met with Kazem Jalali, appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Russia.
According to the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, there was a thorough exchange of views on topical issues on the international agenda, including the issues of the Joint comprehensive action plan (JCPOA) to resolve the situation around the Iranian nuclear program.
"The parties expressed support for the preservation of the JCPOA and the continuation of effective interaction between all its participants", the message reads.
