Russia, Germany, Britain and France agreed to keep the Iranian nuclear deal

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov met with Directors General for Political Affairs of Germany, Britain and France.


The main topic of discussion was the Iranian nuclear deal.


The officials had a detailed discussion of the difficult situation regarding the implementation of the document.


All participants in the meeting reaffirmed their unswerving commitment to the JCPOA, emphasizing the need to continue efforts to find ways of preserving it.


The Russian side once again emphasized the importance to show restraint in relation to any steps that could further complicate the implementation of comprehensive agreements and create uncertainty about their future.


The importance of combining efforts of the remaining JCPOA participants to return the Action Plan implementation process to the originally agreed framework was also noted.
