In March-early April, Russia provided the CIS countries with more than 1.5 thousand test kits for laboratory diagnostics, each of which allows you to make one hundred studies for coronavirus. In April-May, more than three thousand sets will be provided, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Andrey Rudenko told TASS.
Thus, according to him, in the CIS countries with the help of Russian tests, almost 450 thousand people will be able to make the virus test.
The issue of fighting coronavirus will also be discussed at the meeting of the Council of heads of government of the CIS, which is scheduled for May 29 in Tashkent.
In addition, meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (at the level of heads of government) and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (at the level of heads of state) will be held in the near future. These events will also address efforts to combat the spread of coronavirus infection.
