Russia has sent humanitarian aid to Mozambique, which was suffered as a result of large-scale flooding.
According to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is noted «as part of a project to strengthen the capacity of the World Health Organization in the field of emergency medical preparedness and response, funded by the Russian Federation, emergency humanitarian assistance was provided to the Republic of Mozambique due to the worst flooding in the country in recent decades».
So, Mozambique was provided by Russia the medical modules with medicines and medical equipment to support the necessary assistance to the population.
It is worth noting that in March, several African countries were captured by the tropical cyclone «Idai», which destroyed houses and caused power outages in Mozambique, as well as in Zimbabwe and Malawi.
More than 700 people died, hundreds are missing as a result of the devastating storm.
