Diplomats discussed current international and regional issues, as well as issues of Russian-Colombian cooperation.
In particular, an agreement was reached on the implementation of joint projects in the trade and economic, investment, scientific, technical and humanitarian fields.
At the same time, the Russian side spoke in favour of coordinating at multilateral sites and searching for promising areas of Russia’s cooperation with the integration associations of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The parties paid special attention to the situation in Venezuela, reaffirming their mutual commitment to solving problems in this country solely by political and diplomatic methods, in accordance with the UN Charter and the principles of international law.
