Russia, Iran and Turkey are ready to oppose separatist plans aimed at undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, the joint statement of the leaders of the three countries Vladimir Putin, Hassan Rouhani and Recep Tayyip Erdogan following the trilateral summit on the Syrian settlement reads.

The document stresses, in particular, that the achievement of peace in the North-East of the Arab Republic can be achieved based exclusively on preserving its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The parties expressed concern about the situation in Idlib province due to the risk of further deterioration of the humanitarian situation and the intensification of terrorist groups.

"We confirmed our determination to continue cooperation in the interests of the final elimination of individuals, groups, enterprises and organizations associated with al-Qaeda or ISIS (both groups are banned in Russia), and other terrorist groups recognized as such by the UN Security Council", - the statement reads.
