Russia, Iran and Turkey to hold the next summit on Syria in September

The next, fifth, trilateral summit of the guarantor countries of Syrian settlement - Russia, Iran and Turkey – will be held in Turkey on September 11, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced.

 

 

 

"I hope that the summit of leaders, which is this time hosted by Turkey, will take place on September 11," he said, adding that "the Turkish side sees great benefit from such meetings and cooperation, started by the Astana format".

 

 



Cavusoglu did not specify which Turkish city will host the summit of the three state leaders.

 

 

 

The previous summit of the guarantor countries was held on February 14 in Sochi.
