Russia, Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan sign agreement on economic cooperation

Four-party meeting of Communication Ministers on economic cooperation took place in Tehran.

 

 


According to the ABNA news agency, the meeting was attended by Russian Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Konstantin Noskov, Iranian Minister of Communication and Information Technology Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, Azerbaijani Minister  of  Transport, Communications, And High Technologies Ramin Guluzade and  the head of Turkish Information and Communication Technologies Authority Omer Abdullah Karagozoglu.

 

 


Following the discussion, all four parties signed an agreement on cooperation, which is aimed to create a regional market in the field of information technology.

 

 


"At the meeting, we agreed to hold 8 events per year. Thus, every year two events will be held in each country. They will be attended by players of the digital economy", quotes the agency Azari Jahromi.
