Russia cancels restrictions on crossing land borders with Kazakhstan and Mongolia effective March 30. This was reported to journalists on Thursday in the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection.
"The operational headquarters to prevent the entry and spread of a new coronavirus infection has decided from 00:00 Moscow time on March 30, 2022, to lift restrictions on the entry of Kazakh citizens to Russia and on the exit of Russian citizens to Kazakhstan through the land section of the Russian-Kazakh border, as well as citizens of Mongolia to Russia and Russian citizens to Mongolia through the land section of the Russian-Mongolian border," said the headquarters.
As the headquarters explained, restrictions are also removed for foreign nationals and stateless persons coming from Mongolia to Russia.
Russia resumed air communication with Mongolia on December 1, 2021, and with Kazakhstan - from September 21, 2020.
